Palantir Technologies (PLTR) won a five-year, $480M contract to deliver and operate its Maven Smart System for the Department of Defense, expanding an existing pilot into a program of record. The contract is the largest single award in Palantir's history and locks in revenue through 2030.
CEO Alex Karp said the award validates the company's 'software-as-a-platform' defense thesis. Shares rose 11% in pre-market trade.
